Welcome to the analog world of Memphis Bound Studio, Hamar, Norway.

A room with vibes from the past. The building is from 1950, and the recording room itself is carfully built to capture pure organic sound. The atmosphere is warm, the sound is natural, powerful and has a beautiful touch of ambience. 1950's style linoleum tile flooring, perforated white accoustic wall and sealing panel, combined with the red velvet backdrop, just as it was in the now legendary studios back in the 50's.

We want to offer an easy, calm and low shoulder experience in a retro environment loaded with historical memrobillia and gear. Your passion is our passion!

The backbone in our studio is the recording room itself, but also our vintage ribbon, condenser and dynamic microphones, and our fully restored 1950's Ampex 350-2 and Studer A80 recorders.
All of this color the sound in a true, warm vintage way. We record a broad specter of musical styles from singer/songwriter, blues, rockabilly, jazz and country to modern rock, pop and hip hop at the house.
